Nostalgia 1

This part of my site is dedicated to my dollz from July 2001 to January 2003. The dollz appear more or less in chronological order.

June, 2001
This was my very first doll. I didn't know about drag-n-drop dollmakers, so I just did something in Photoshop... I was determined to have a doll in my signature, just like the other people on the Simfreaks forum.

July, 2001
This doll has been used for my very first lay-out. You can still find the lay-out in the scrapbook section of the site.

July, 2001
On a little Kate roll. Marianne from Sense & Sensibility, Rose from Titanic and Julia from Hideous Kinky. Kate is of course one of my favourite actresses.

July, 2001
And then I made those mini bases. I made a crazy load of them. People used to send me dollz they made on those mini bases. I remember being so surprised people wanted to use those little bases. I loved it.

July, 2001
One of my favourite oldies. She was entered in Niccie's formal wear contest. Val had entered too with a doll dressed in lilac, we were such a good match, we became sisters.

July, 2001
Now this doll has a background story. It was part of a joke with a couple of people at the Simfreaks forum, it's nothing *really* violent.

July, 2001
I believe that Innocents had asked if people wanted to doll on her male base, so I made a Neo, since I was quite the Matrix nut.

July, 2001
Made for a contest, but I can't remember whose contest it was. Ah, good old days of contests. He he. Carnival dollie from Brazil.

August, 2001
Even Kate Winslet minis, of course. These are based on a particular beautiful photoshoot.

August, 2001
Danielle, from Ever After. I love that movie so much! One of my favourites to watch, for sure. I remember being so proud of this doll at that time.

August, 2001
A bellydancer, most likely also for a contest. I used a picture of a costume website for reference, and I think other people have used that picture too, that's why you sometimes see bellydancer dollz in the exact same costume.

September, 2001
A medieval queen. The design for her hair I have used one other time, in the Autumn doll, but especially the shape of the skirt I have used more often.

September, 2001
Shoot-em-up chica here. I always loved to play Unreal Tournament, so I had to doll the skin I was wearing. Her name is Jayce, but my play name is Ophelia.

September, 2001
A gothic princess. I had to make the occasional gothic inspired doll. Sometimes I got complaints from visitors because my gothic dollz weren't really gothic in their opinion. I've known gothic costumes to be mosly gorgeous dresses. It's not Hottopic gothic. July, 2001. This doll has been used for my very first lay-out. You can still find the lay-out in the scrapbook section of the site.

September, 2001
Do my eyes spot bright green stray pixels there? For shame. The rose has been drawn after a picture, obviously.

September, 2001
One of the dollz that is still one of my favourite oldies. I love those colours. I'm an Autumn girl myself. I can't remember how I did the pattern on the skirt really, but I still think it looks nice. The dress is a recolour again of my medieval queen and the hair I frankendolled of myself too. Ha ha!
